LivIn design was conceived as a venture to bring high quality design work to different facets of consumer’s daily lives. As of 2010, LivIn design is the parent company of both SKN design and Storio digital. At SKN we meticulously design and manufacture eco-friendly products for mass-market consumption. At Storio digital we build corporate personas both virtual and physical, designing solid brand experiences through web, identity and print design.

• Analyzed the need in the market for an agency to service small to mid sized companies who needed quality affordable design work and consultation services
• Implemented a business strategy to enable rapid growth whilst providing high-end work with limited overhead
• Utilized expertise in graphic design, user interface design, branding core principles and business strategies to provide a one-stop shop for growing companies
• Worked with owners of various companies across a wide breadth of industries to position their brand competitively in todays marketplace

SKN design (getskn.com)

• Designed a line of reusable totes to bring a modern look and feel to a traditionally outdated and lackluster industry
• Sourced materials and worked with manufacturers to ensure quality and consistency of product
• Worked within a tight budget continually strategizing and adjusting as necessary to ensure success
• Worked as Art Director to mold the creative vision of marketing materials including styling photographs and designing all print collateral
• Procured press coverage in major national publications such as Town & Country, Health Magazine, and Real Simple
• Procured inclusion in two consecutive seasons of NY Fashion Week (Liz McClean Fall 2008, Andy and Debb SS 2009) resulting in press and major brand exposure

As the studio manager and a master artisan on staff at The Finishing School, a leading decorative art school, I was afforded the opportunity to hone both my creative and administrative skills. I played a key role in class development and support while also developing samples for and working as a foreman on large scale commercial and residential contracting jobs.

Selected Achievements:

• Successfully coordinated with up to 10 different instructors from four Finishing School locations as well as independent institutions to prepare for in house classes and lectures
• Assisted in execution of all programs offered, both as administrator and as an instructor
• Designed curriculum, prepared and taught my own classes, lectures and workshops
• Was a sought after teacher and designer who specialized in the design of production-friendly finishes enhancing student's portfolios and businesses
• Offered private technical and business support consultations on an individual basis
• Represented the school as a contractor/foreman on commissioned projects
• Designed finishes for clients striking a balance between the following variables: budget, desired aesthetic, architectural elements, size and accessibility of space
